    Kourna's Lake is the only natural lake all over Crete.Just 2km away from Georgioupolis,the Lake is relatively large, with a perimeter of 3.5 km,surrounded by nature. the White Mountains are reflected in the mirror-like waters,creating a wonderful sight you shouldnt miss.     At the right side of the river, there is a path made of rocks, that leads to a small beautiful church. The name of this church is St. Nicolas.The church is inside the sea, build on a large rock.
